Nathan Plaskey, DPM, provides comprehensive podiatry services at Arcadia Foot and Ankle, in South Scottsdale and Mesa, Arizona. He is very passionate about patient satisfaction and the outcomes of his surgical procedures. Dr. Plaskey takes the time to make sure the patient’s questions and concerns are addressed fully before leaving the office. He was trained to treat a variety of patient demographics including children, adults, and the geriatric community.
Dr. Plaskey completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He attended podiatric medical school in Independence, Ohio, attending Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine formally known as Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 2013. He then completed an intensive three-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Beaumont Healthcare Hospital in Wayne, Michigan.
Dr. Plaskey had a rigorous podiatric medical and surgical residency which included a wide variety of conservative treatment as well as surgical intervention for diabetic foot care, bunion deformity, hammertoe deformity, neuroma removal, arthritic joints (which consisted of fusion or implant placement), ankle fractures, metatarsal fractures, flat foot reconstruction, calcaneal and talar fractures, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon ruptures, equinus, as well as office procedures such as partial nail avulsions, injections, and bracing/orthotics.
Dr. Plaskey is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Arizona Podiatric Medical Association, and American Podiatric Medical Association. He has many affiliations with hospitals and surgical centers throughout the Mesa and Thomas areas.
